keeping our selves safe

I am writing about keeping our selves safe. We have been learning about secrets, bribes and tricks. Being a S.S.T.A.R. means Stop, Stand, Think, Act  and Report.
We have been watching skits on the interactive whiteboard. We like doing realistic acting with our class. We had clear voices, good emotions and use our whole stage space. By Jacinta.

Daffodil Day

Yesterday and today we had Daffodil day.We wore green and yellow and brought some money to fund raise for the Cancer Society.
The cancer society use the money to buy more medicine and better machines.
We felt sad when people die so we try to help and we felt happy when people live. It's because of our donations.

Keeping our selves safe

This week we have Constable Amanda teaching us how to keep our selves safe. On the internet one thing we learned was :

Before you go on to the internet to put a photo of you on, ask for your parent's permission. So you know it is safe for you.

Ben has WON! The prize.

On Thursday morning Ben got the prize for his brave story. He got an awesome watch and a T-shirt. He says the T-shirt he got was too big for him so he will give it to his older sister. Whaea Lynda also took Ben to choose another prize from the chance card table.

On Friday our class got prizes for a writing competition. It was about being brave. We got Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, a Chicago Bulls DVD, toffee apple tea bags and some bags of bling.

Singing with Amazing Room 3

We are singing a Bruno Mars song Count on me with Room 3. It is very hard to do because some notes go high and some notes go low, when it gets to the high notes people can`t really reach it, the only person that can reach them is Lise. This song is for the  Russell School .H.E.A.R.T Values  Assembly for next week on Wednesday on the eighth of August. Each class has to do one of the letters on the H.E.A.R.T. We are doing the T which is for TEAM WORK.
